Festivals in India: Paryushan, the greatest Jain auspicious Parva is my latest article in Hubpages. All of you know that Paryushan is the most celebrated Jain festival and the same is approaching near by. Swetambar community will observe Paryushan between August 22 to 29 in 2014. August 29 will be Samvatsari. Jain will apologise with everyone on that day after performing Samvatsarik Pratikraman.

Paryushan of Digambar community is also called Das Lakshan Parva and starts after the Swetambar Paryushan. It will start from August 30 and will continue till September 8. Anant Chaturdashi, last day of Das Lakshan will be on September 8 and Digambar community will observe Kshamavani.

Sakal Jain Samaj, Jaipur will organize "Samuhik Kshamapana" to observe universal forgiveness on Sunday, September 14,  2014 at Subodh Public School, Jaipur.
